Job Description

As a Pack Quality and Material Analyst at Tooheys on a 10 month fixed term contract youll play an important role in supporting our Brewery by overseeing Raw Materials and Analytical Equipment Vendors Management systems with a specific focus on Packaging. Working alongside a collaborative and passionate team your day to day will include supplier management and SCAR process; supporting and providing expertise in product quality and packaging material non-conformance activities and ensuring key analytical equipment is available & fit for purpose.

What Youll Do:

  • Own Materials quality non-conformance process raising of SCARs review of non-conformance reports handling return of credit notes.
  • Build strong relationships and lead our Vendor assurance program with our key material suppliers.
  • Keep packaging material and product specifications up to date in our quality systems.
  • Analyse data and trends to monitor material quality and performance and spot opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage and resolve packaging material issues ensuring were always working with the best.
  • Ensure analytical and lab equipment is properly maintained calibrated and ready to go.
  • Coach and guide our production teams on equipment care and material handling to keep everything running smoothly.

What Youll Bring:

  • Preferred experience with SAP & SEQIS systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills confidence engaging with everyone from production teams to suppliers with the ability to influence and build trust.
  • Experience using calibrating and maintaining analytical or laboratory equipment.
  • A solid understanding of manufacturing environments with the flexibility to adapt when things change.
  • Great problem-solving skills with experience using root cause analysis techniques to get to the heart of issues.
  • Some exposure to packaging processes primary secondary or tertiary packaging is preferred.
