Your Profile:
As part of an international team you will provide IT user support and customer service for company-supported computer applications and platforms. You will troubleshoot issues and offer guidance on appropriate solutions.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve first-level technical and software issues
- Research user inquiries using available information resources
- Provide users with appropriate guidance and recommended actions
- Follow standard Service Desk procedures and best practices
- Record all interactions and support activities in the Service Desk system
- Administer and maintain Service Desk software tools
- Escalate or redirect issues to the appropriate support team or specialist
- Identify and escalate situations requiring immediate or urgent attention
- Track and route issues and service requests; document resolutions thoroughly
- Prepare activity reports (SQL or OQL experience is a plus)
- Notify management of recurring or critical problems
- Stay up to date with system information updates and procedural changes.
Requirements:
- Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication
- Working knowledge of core operations of relevant software hardware and equipment
- Familiarity with ITIL-based customer service practices
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and delivering Service Desk support
- Fast learner with the ability to acquire new technical skills quickly
- Customer service oriented with a focus on following established procedures
- Solid problem analysis and problem-solving capabilities
- Highly adaptable and flexible in changing environments
- Effective team collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized with strong planning abilities and attention to detail
- Maintains performance under pressure; resilient and stress-tolerant
- Works independently with a sense of responsibility and accountability.
