Location/Division Specific Information:

Located in Geel Belgium this role is part of Thermo Fisher Scientifics Laboratory Chemicals Division. Focusing on delivering world-class solutions and ensuring flawless operations.

How Will You Make an Impact:

Join us as a Material Handler II and contribute to our success by handling repackaging and labeling chemicals accurately. The impact you will have could be anything from delivering products that help a scientist discover a cure for cancer to helping a nurse care for a patient optimally because they have the right equipment.

A Day in the Life:

  • Complete repackaging tasks while adhering to strict safety procedures work instructions and quality standards.
  • Minimize waste and efficiently use cleaning agents.
  • Treat existing waste according to established procedures.
  • Propose initiatives to reduce environmental impact.

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing operations production or lab setting.
  • Plus: Experience in a cGMP environment.

Knowledge Skills Abilities:

  • Safe efficient and accurate work practices.
  • Collegial attitude and collaborative spirit.
  • Basic understanding of chemistry is advantageous.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with adherence to safety standards.
