Nurse Practitioner-Internal Medicine Permanent Role
- Location: Dallas TX 75246
- Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 40 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive and problem-focused physical exams.
- Diagnose and treat chronic and acute health problems in the adult population.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
- Develop and manage care plans based on evidence-based guidelines and patient needs.
- Prescribe medications and other therapies as needed.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and services.

Experience:
Licensure & Certification:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Texas.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with Texas license.
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Certification in applicable patient population (e.g. Adult-Gerontology or Family)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required within 30 days of hire
- National certification from a recognized certifying board (e.g. AANP or ANCC).
