Job Description

Endoscopy Technician Contract Role

Location: Burlington MA 01805
Shift Type: Day Variable Shift (4x10s)
Schedule:

  • 40 hours/week
  • Shift: 7:30 AM 6:00 PM
  • 4 days/week (Monday Friday)
  • Must be available to work at least 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays in each 4-week time period

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare maintain and clean endoscopy equipment before and after procedures.
  • Assist medical team with endoscopic procedures.
  • Monitor patients for comfort and safety during recovery from moderate sedation.
  • Transport and position patients as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
  • Document procedure details per facility protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with nursing and surgical staff in PACU or Ambulatory Surgery units.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Certified Endoscopy Technician or equivalent training.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in Endoscopy Ambulatory Surgery PACU or Recovery Unit
  • Familiarity with moderate sedation protocols.

Certification:

  • Active BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
