Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join one of our international teams based in Brussels. The selected professional will be responsible for leading the implementation of complex large-scale strategic IT projects. This is a long-term assignment with a near-site model (partial onsite presence).
Tasks
- Manage large complex and strategic projects related to the implementation of new information systems.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle aligning constantly with business needs and managing changes through formal control procedures.
- Estimate project costs schedules and resource requirements in alignment with project goals.
- Provide strategic proposals for project planning task definitions quality assurance risk analysis reporting issue management and overall follow-up.
- Participate in functional working groups and project progress meetings.
- Prepare and maintain project and quality plans; monitor project progress and produce accurate regular reports.
- Lead and guide the project team to ensure motivation collaboration and professional development.
- Supervise and review the deliverables of the project team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management within complex IT environments.
- Advanced technical knowledge of project components and systems.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum XP Lean Software Development Disciplined Agile).
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.
- Solid knowledge of project management and tracking tools:
MS Project
Jira
GitHub Enterprise
ServiceNow
- Experience with UML and BPMN.
- Strong leadership and communication skills both written and spoken.
At least one of the following certifications is required:
- PRINCE2 Foundation / Practitioner
- COBIT 5
- PMI PMP
- PM or PM Agile Certification
