At British Swim School we teach lifesaving skillsbut it starts with a warm welcome an encouraging word and a well-run pool deck. As a Front Desk & Poolside Support team member youll be the go-to person families trust to guide them through their swim journey.

Support class transitionshelp students line up and move to the right spot
Track student attendance and help manage check-ins
Celebrate student milestonesring the bell take photos hand out certificates
Set up and put away equipment before and after shifts
Communicate with parents about scheduling program info and student progress
Monitor safety energy and flow on the pool deck
Who Were Looking For
Hospitality or Front Desk Experience You can juggle smiling and staying organized
Youth Program Staff You love supporting kids and engaging families
Camp Counselors or Coaches Youre energetic reliable and great at transitions
Performers or Extroverts You bring the fun and keep things positive
Reliability and attention to detailwe depend on you to keep things moving
Organizational skillsyoull help keep schedules and classes on track
Comfortable being around the water (you wont be in it!)
High school diploma (or in progress)
Tech comfortusing a tablet or checking a swim class schedule is no big deal
Bonus: CPR/First Aid certification or interest in cross-training into instruction (optional)

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. Its helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job but its not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team even if youre not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the Survival of the Littlest.
