First Line Sales Manager Commercial West

Location: Palo Alto CA ***This is a hybrid role candidate must be able to come into the Palo Alto office 3 days a week***

Role Overview: As a Sales Manager at Glean you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets. You will play a critical role in driving the sales strategy managing the sales process and ensuring the success of your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead coach and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities for team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing product and customer success to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Gleans products and services and effectively communicate their value to potential customers.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success in a sales management role.
  • Experience selling at a startup or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • A growth mindset and a passion for continuous improvement and learning.
