Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintains Infinium system and reports. Schedules all classes inside and outside of the company.
  • Tracks attendance daily and sends reports weekly to supervisors and managers.
  • Prepares and maintains purchase requisitions and capital requisitions.
  • Prepares monthly statements for variance reviews.
  • Assist in administrative reports and projects.
  • Control inventory and warehouse orders.
  • Reads and routes incoming mail and responsible for all outgoing mail.
  • Responsible for keeping all employee information updated and filed including sending HR copies on a daily basis. Also responsible for setting up new files for employees.
  • Prepares exception logs for new and terminating employees.
  • Places accepts and screens telephone calls to others as appropriate.
  • Interacts with internal department customers in a polite and professional manner.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by the director managers or supervisors.
  • Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory department and company policies.
  • Orders all office supplies.
  • Contacts various vendors for best price value on equipment and supplies.
  • Act as a role model and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrahs and encourage others to do the same.
  • Utilizes and inputs requisitions into Stratton Warren.
  • Faxes and codes invoices into Dart

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma and two years of specialized experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Must have proven skills in Microsoft Word and knowledge of Stratton Warren is a plus. Must be able to read write speak and understand English and work independently with little or no direction. Should be multi task oriented. Ability to deal with sensitive data is essential. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work well as a present a well-groomed professional appearance.

PHYSICAL MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to maneuver around office area. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle several tasks at one time. Must have manual dexterity to operate office machines including PC fax copier and be able to lift up to 10 pounds and carry up to 5 pounds. Must be able to bend reach kneel twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area.
