As the Senior Manager Platform Application Development & AMS you will lead the strategic design development and management of enterprise-level applications and platforms. Your primary responsibility is to oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) ensuring that applications are architected for scalability performance and security. This role demands a deep technical expertise in modern application development frameworks cloud-native architectures and DevOps practices.
You will manage cross-functional teams of developers engineers and support specialists driving the delivery of high-quality software solutions that align with business objectives. Additionally you will oversee Application Management Services (AMS) ensuring the reliability availability and continuous improvement of existing applications through proactive monitoring incident management and performance optimization.

Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of innovation technical excellence and continuous improvement positioning the organization at the forefront of technological advancement with key deliverables;
- Oversee the end-to-end development of platform applications ensuring adherence to best practices in software engineering architecture and design.
- Lead the AMS function ensuring optimal performance availability and scalability of existing applications through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Manage and mentor a team of developers and support engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts project managers and QA testers to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
- Ensure all applications comply with relevant security standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications :
Now lets talk about you
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in application development and management with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java .NET or Python and familiarity with frameworks like Spring or Angular.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies including Agile and DevOps practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
