You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThere is an exciting opportunity within LGCs National Laboratories QSHE (Quality Safety Health and Environment) Team to provide support in managing quality and safety systems and developing continuous improvement.
Measurement is crucial to our everyday lives: clinicians making a medical diagnosis to labs providing forensic evidence to support the justice system or tests to safeguard the quality of our water. The National Measurement Laboratory (NML) works closely with government academia and industry to understand address and manage the measurement challenges they face delivering world-leading chemical and bio-measurement science to keep these measurements running efficiently.
Under contract to the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) LGC hosts and operates the UKs combined Official Medicines Control Laboratory (OMCL) for chemical testing and the British Pharmacopoeia (BP) Commission Laboratory. The work of The MHRA Laboratories at LGC helps to protect public health by ensuring that medicines and healthcare products are safe for those who use them. The MHRA laboratories carried out routine surveillance testing on licensed medicine
The QSHE Team is responsible for managing auditing and developing the quality and safety systems in the National Laboratories area of LGC. We ensure all staff align with relevant legislation standards and guides. We also provide advice support and promote continuous improvement across the business area. You will receive full training while you work within the team and with representatives within the delivery teams. We will support you to develop within a multifaceted lively quality and safety environment.
