PURPOSE OF POSITION:
SR HR Business Partner will be responsible for aligning business objectives with Team Members and management in designated business units. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues; successful Sr. HRBP acts as a Team Member champion and change agent. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching counseling career development disciplinary actions).
- Consult with supervisors/management provide HR guidance when appropriate. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships build morale and increase productivity and retention.
- Manage and resolve complex Team Member relations issues. Conduct effective and objective investigations.
- Recruit exempt and non-exempt Team Members to ensure best candidates possible are selected. Manage and coordinate Foster Farms enterprise-wide college recruiting program.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions programs and policies.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures workforce planning and succession planning.
- Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.
- Additional projects as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Must be able to work evening/night shifts.
- 2 years of Human Resources experience.
- Bilingual Required (English/Spanish).
- Knowledge of performance management employee relations safety practices talent acquisition and compensation strategy with the ability to apply this information in a manner that is compliant with relevant employment law.
- Change agent with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with proven ability to drive continuous improvement and results.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and demonstrated experience utilizing HRMS.
- Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check.
- Must have consistent and reliable attendance.
