Job Description
Battery Performance Optimization
- Monitor and improve battery usage charging strategies and thermal management.
- Develop algorithms for SoC (State of Charge) and SoH (State of Health) estimation.
Energy Management Systems
- Design systems that optimize energy flow between battery motor and auxiliary systems.
- Implement regenerative braking and eco-driving strategies.
Powertrain Efficiency
- Analyze and enhance electric motor performance.
- Work on inverter and converter efficiency.
Simulation & Testing
- Use tools like MATLAB/Simulink GT-SUITE or AVL Cruise for modeling and simulation.
- Conduct real-world testing to validate energy models.
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree (minimum):
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Automotive Engineering
- Computer Science or Mechatronics (especially for autonomy)
- Master (advantage):
- Focus on EV systems control systems AI for autonomous vehicles or energy systems
Key Skills
Battery Management Systems (BMS): Understanding of lithium-ion battery chemistry thermal management and SoC/SoH estimation.
Power Electronics: Inverters converters and motor controllers.
Energy Optimization: Regenerative braking route planning for energy efficiency.
Simulation Tools: MATLAB/Simulink ANSYS GT-SUITE.
