You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailLead the design development and optimization of light-duty electric vehicle drive axle gearbox systems.
Develop detailed project timelines and roadmaps to ensure timely completion of R&D tasks.
Collaborate with team members to select integrate and define technical specifications for key
components such as motors and reducers.
Perform performance simulation tests on the drive axle gearbox system design and adjust the design
based on test results.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal resources to ensure project progress according to schedule.
Write detailed technical documentation including design reports testing records and outcome reports.
Participate in vehicle assembly tuning work to ensure compatibility of the drive axle gearbox system with
other systems.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree or above in Automotive Engineering Mechanical Design or related fields; a Masters
degree is preferred.
At least 3-5 years of industry experience in electric vehicles particularly in R&D for light-duty EV drive
systems.
Proficient knowledge and understanding of motor technology power electronics and control principles.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments both internally and externally.
Familiarity with CAD design software Cero and CAE tools for simulation analysis.
Innovative problem-solving capabilities and resourcefulness in addressing challenges during the development process.
- Good understanding of the Gear shafting system and the relative components.
- Knowledge about the quality tools (e.g. 8D SPC FMEA) and machining process preferred.
