You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAn exciting opportunity exists for a rotating Grade 1 Physiotherapist to join our highly valued Allied Health team at Epworth Geelong. At Epworth Geelong our physiotherapists provide care to patients in the Emergency Department ICU acute wards inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation services. The Physiotherapy team delivers care as part of the wider Multidisciplinary Allied Health team. Patient profiles include but are not limited to orthopaedics neurology cardiorespiratory general medical surgical oncology and pain management. This Grade 1 rotating position would commence on the 29 bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Epworth Geelong. The role would be well supported by a Grade 3 and Grade 2 physiotherapist and work alongside Allied Health Assistants and the broader Allied Health team.
To be successful in this role you will be a competent clinician who is able to effectively manage a varied clinical caseload with the support of a Grade 2 and Grade 3 clinician. You will be focused on optimal clinical outcomes evidenced based practice and excellent patient experience. You will demonstrate a motivation for ongoing learning a willingness to always ask questions and an openness to feedback.
Reporting to the Deputy Manager - Physiotherapy you will be responsible for providing physiotherapy interventions and management for patients receiving rehabilitation care at Epworth Geelong. In future rotations you will have the opportunity to work within the acute medical ward and support colleagues in the acute surgical and neurology units the Intensive Care Unit and the Emergency Department. Additional responsibilities include Allied Health Assistant supervision as well as quality improvement activities.
