Trainers are utilized for short-term training on a class-by-class basis dependent on the needs of the JSP Business Partner. Pay may vary. Co-trainers may be assigned to a course and each trainer will be paid half of the ongoing rate. This is an internal posting available to Yakima Valley College Employees only.
This trainer position is contingent upon ongoing grant funding.
Reporting to the Director -WorkFirst theTrainer - Job Skills Programs (JSP) position is stationed at the Yakima JSPTrainerwill be responsible for training JSP students in one of the requested areas of specialization. The trainer will have strong oral and written communication skills. The successful applicant(s)will work specifically with the WorkFirst Director JSP Coordinator and Staff to develop and provide specialized training to the employees of business partners in the Yakima Valley.
Occasional travel is required and the trainingschedule will be determined in collaboration with the business partner.
