Job Description

SUMMARY:
Armstrong Relocation is seeking a highly motivated application developer to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong understanding and experience with multiple languages multiple databases processing data files (XML/JSON) Shell Scripting both Linux & Windows and using APIs. Equally important to this individuals skillset is the ability to think outside the box the ability to quickly solve problems and the candidate must an understand and desire to provide impeccable customer service. The individual also must thrive within a small collaborative team environment have great communication skills have empathy for others and possess great patience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides significant contribution and oversight in the design and development of integration solutions and solution prototyping.
- Delivers high quality products/solutions and ensures that best practices and sound engineering principals are applied throughout all solutions.
- Works with others to define functional and interface specifications design integration architecture prototyping implementing and testing integration solutions.
- Transform raw or near-raw data and reference information from a wide variety of data sources into comprehensive analytics and reporting-ready data sources for operational and financial use cases.
- Utilizing these data sources build and curate standardized and ad hoc organizational reporting for usage across all Armstrong departments.
- Must have a master skill level with regards to searching for solutions to figure out

MINIMUM SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of integration patterns methods and technologies e.g. APIs (REST SOAP etc.) ETL.
- Experience working with data files including flat files (XML JSON) and XML definition files (XSD WSDL).
- Working with Cloud database technologies based on SQL and Oracle.
- Critical thinking abilities to take complex ambiguous abstract requirements and break them into smaller components patterns views and features
- Ability to communicate technical and data concepts to non-technical audiences and business concepts to technical audiences
- Ability to function within a team environment which includes collaborating daily with team members and other colleagues in a thoughtful and respectful manner
- Proven experience working with enterprise integration systems.
- Experience designing and implementing cross region multi-cloud integrations.
- A clear focus on finding the simplest solution providing the greatest impact.
- Experience working in both Linux and Windows systems.
- Shell Scripting Experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Specific vision abilities include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 10 pounds.
- Ability to sit for long periods; stand and walk frequently; and bend stoop and reach occasionally.
