Park Avenue Center provides evidence-based gender-specific drug and alcohol treatment in south Minneapolis Minnesota. First established in 1979 Park Avenue Center is a community-based program that proudly serves Minnesotas less fortunate individuals in beautiful settings. Using evidence-based best practices we have maintained a reputation for the highest quality of services at extremely low rates. Clients we serve typically struggle with multiple barriers including mental illness homelessness financial problems legal issues and an overall lack of emotional support. Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach our staff includes Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors Licensed Psychologists Social Workers and a Registered Nurse. Our robust Mental Health Team allows us to help clients address their various needs. We take pride in the quality of our services and the magnificent environment we have created. As a result we are able to live our mission!
Position Summary:
The Human Resource Assistant is responsible under the direction of the Director of Human Resources for a broad range of duties to support the HR department including managing job postings reviewing candidates and assisting in scheduling interviews; onboarding and training paperwork; auditing of employee files; and assisting in various HR projects.

Flexible hours available M-F between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm. This position will average 20-29 hours/week with a starting wage of $21.00/hour.
