A bit about your role
The role Manager Disruption Management Resilience & Asset Management supports the Disruption Management function within nbns Resilience and Asset Management team focusing on enhancing the organisations crisis & emergency response capabilities. It involves designing and delivering training testing exercises and debriefs to prepare leadership and business units for major disruptions while also coordinating real-time crisis & emergency responses.
The role contributes to continuous improvement of the Disruption Management programs provides strategic advisory support and ensures alignment with national legislation and internal assurance frameworks. The role includes on-call responsibilities to support crisis & emergency response efforts.
A bit about you
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategic and operational disruption management preferably within a critical infrastructure environment. They should possess experience in managing real-world crises emergencies and incidents across all response phases. Experience in training and exercising senior leadership teams (SLTs) in responding to disruptive events is essential.
The role requires a strong understanding of response team attributes such as situational awareness critical thinking stakeholder management decision-making and time & task management. The ideal candidate will be a strong planner a team-player comfortable in conversing with senior leaders and have an adaptive mindset.
