Job Description
We are looking for a talented Video Editor with 2 years of experience to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should be skilled in editing both long-form and short-form video content and must be familiar with modern storytelling styles seen in content from leading media companies like Magnet Media GrowthX or Megalo Media.
Responsibilities:
- Edit engaging and high-quality videos tailored for platforms such as YouTube Instagram TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Work on both long-form content (e.g. tutorials vlogs podcasts) and short-form videos (e.g. reels ads and promos).
- Use software like CapCut Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects to produce polished videos.
- Apply modern editing techniques such as dynamic transitions text overlays motion graphics and pacing that capture attention.
- Organize and manage video assets ensuring proper file naming versioning and backups.
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm video concepts and ensure brand consistency.
- Deliver edits that align with the client s or brand s tone and style.
Requirements:
- 2 years of professional experience in video editing.
- Proficiency in video editing software: CapCut Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Strong knowledge of color grading sound design and motion graphics.
- Proven experience editing for modern media trends similar to styles produced by Magnet Media GrowthX or Megalo Media.
- Familiarity with social media platform requirements (aspect ratios lengths and best practices).
- Strong storytelling skills with an eye for detail and pacing.
- Ability to handle multiple projects with quick turnarounds.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop Illustrator).
- Understanding of YouTube SEO and thumbnail design.
- Ability to provide creative input on video concepts and storyboarding.
