Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Principal: Administration (APA) to join the leadership team at St Marys Catholic Primary School Bundaberg.
The position of APA acknowledges the importance of organisation of systems and the management of daily operations within Catholic schools. It is to assist with this particular aspect of the Principals leadership role that the role of APA has been created. The APA focuses on providing leadership in the overall organisation of school systems according to Diocesan policies and practices.
The successful applicant will have a deep commitment to providing quality Catholic education based on your faith participate in the life of the parish as well as have appropriate teaching experience academic qualifications and leadership qualities.

- is a practising Catholic with a sound understanding of and commitment to Catholic education
- has experience of successful leadership in Catholic education
- can foster a culture of inspirational teaching and learning and lead the development and implementation of school improvement initiatives
- has the interpersonal skills to build partnerships within the school and with the local community
- is willing to provide leadership in areas delegated by the Principal in the APA duty statement and
- can lead in ways that are consistent with the message of Jesus and the Gospels

- Diocesan policies and directives

- Catholic Education Mission and Vision Statements policies practices and strategic directions.
About us
St Marys Schooloffers a balanced curriculum in a child centred friendly environment. The school is located in an urban setting on a large parcel of land with well-maintained and well-resourced grounds. The school has a strong Music Program which includes lessons and training for the school concert bands. Part of the Music program also includes 2 choirs a Junior and a Senior Choir. Mandatory Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration
