Job Context:
Mouda Plant Since inception is in FRP business Commenced operations in 1994 as a unit of Pennar Aluminium. Mouda unit was a sick unit under BIFR Act since acquired the assets of PALCO from ARCIL under SARFASI Act March 4 2006. Being a Sick Unit for a long time the unit has lagged behind in development of good management practices.

It is a major challenge to turn around this unit into a profitable unit. As well now Mouda is in a massive growth path and entering in Foil business which requires special skill set and total change of mind set and flexibility as per the needs of the business as most of the clients are from Pharmaceuticals & Food industries. In coming couple of years the existing manpower will be doubled.

Job Challenges:

Retaining & enhancing technical skills through continuous education / learning and training.
Develop & implement Succession plan for key position

To negotiate and implement effective long term agreements with the bargainable workforce so as to contain the employment costCoordinate all I R activities with the Unions Corporate HR Business Head Works Management concerning LTA and its effective implementationKRA10EMPLOYMENT COST

WCMEnsuring employment cost is maintained within P&B
Implement 8 dimensions of WCM Excellence Model as a Leader of the KMFA teams and Operating teams.KRA2INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS
To develop and maintain effective relationship with the Union by following just fair and firm approach.

To resolve any industrial relations problems or disputes amicably to maintain the Productivity of the plant.Coordinate with Union Labour Bodies and Deptt Heads for developing and maintaining harmonious relations at the work place and also for resolution of conflictsKRA3HR INITIATIVES & TRAINING
To attract & induct Talent & ensure its availability..

To drive new HR initiatives at unit level & implement the same in coordination with Hindalco Corporate HR / Kolkata HR for maintaining the right Organization for proper development of the employees & common policies across all units..

To ensure that the training needs specially skills required are identified and training imparted to bridge the skill gap.Initiate a Training & Development Programme working in close coordination with Kolkata HR / Corp HR and all Department Heads in the plant (for identification of training needs and skill up grade)KRA4STATUTORY COMPLIANCES
To ensure that all statutory compliances under various statutes are complied.Review the systems at regular intervals to check the compliances. Interactions with DHs Union Contractors & Govt. agencies.KRA5CONTRACT LABOUR MANAGEMENTReview the SOP at regular intervals & to check its implementationKRA6PERSONNEL & ADMINISTRATION
To ensure the day to day Personnel Administrative activities like Security Canteen Transport Employee Welfare etc are discharged effectivelyAs Administrative head coordinates with all DHs for services being provided liaison with outside agencies for smooth running of plant.KRA7PUBLIC RELATIONS
To ensure that effective relationships with statutory authorities and adjoining communities are maintained for smooth operation of the plant.Liaison with all Govt. & Statutory bodies for effective relationship and smooth operations.KRA8SECURITYReview at regular intervals to ensure the Security of Men Material & EstateKRA9EMPLOYEE WELFARE

CSR

ORGANIZATION HEALTH SURVEY INITIATIVESEnsuring employees motivation is maintained by implementing various welfare programmes
To plan and initiate CSR initiatives at Unit.
Ensure the CHR OHS initiatives are adhered to at the Unit.
