As the Works Delivery Leader (WDL) within Distribution Delivery you will play a pivotal role in supporting and leading a team responsible for constructing operating and maintaining the distribution network. As part of this WDL role you will also be responsible for driving the performance and productivity of the team to ensure results to enhance crew utilisation.
Second to leading their team our WDLs are responsible for contributing to and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimise Program of Work (PoW) activities contributing towards the development and implementation of compliance and quality standards which include onsite audits and discussions with team members and ensuring the upskilling of team members technical skills.
You will have demonstrated significant experience within an electrical environment (essential) with exposure to distribution operations being advantageous and experience leading a team of tradespeople/technical professionals.
We are seeking interest from candidates with the following attributes -
Ability to navigate challenging situations and take decisive action to achieve positive outcomes
Proven experience with enterprise planning software
Possess commercial acumen and business insight capabilities with the ability to identify improvement opportunities and drive results
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
