About You
In this impactful role youll be at the forefront of shaping Birmingham City Council into a truly people-first organisation. As an Equality Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) specialist youll use your analytical skills and deep understanding of systemic inequality to design and deliver meaningful interventions that create lasting change. By turning data insights into strategic recommendations youll influence decision-makers and drive an inclusive culture across all areas of the Council.
Youll lead the way in embedding EDI principles into policies practices and trainingempowering colleagues at every level to champion inclusion and equity. Whether developing engaging programmes advising on compliance with the Equality Act 2010 or partnering with internal and external stakeholders your work will directly contribute to a more equitable empathetic and welcoming workplace for all. If youre passionate about social justice intersectionality and using data to drive progress this is the role where your impact will be felt Council-wide.
