You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Business Initiatives Coordinator is a key support role for our members of the team of wealth advisors delivering wealth and retirement advice to Manulife clients. The Business Initiatives Coordinator is responsible for supporting the mass market sales teams including Transition Solutions by assisting with administrative duties client facing interactions (phone calls and/or emails) and tasks that an advisor would support without the responsibility of providing advice processing of transactions or direction to clients. The Business Initiatives Coordinator will work closely with other key stakeholder teams and direct members as they manage activities related to their assigned work while ensuring the advisor is kept in the loop allowing the sales teams to focus on their primary sales duties.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage general inbox for workflow assignment
Maintain existing processes for tracking business and handling paperwork within 48-hour SLA
Accountable for timely follow ups with other financial institutions on consolidation related activity
Responsible for accurately tracking completed sales activities for advisors within Salesforce
Maintain integrity of notes and tools used to track work activity work intake and follow ups
Assist advisors with client facing requests for administrative/service-related inquiries such as: non-financial account updates missing paperwork for file completion etc
Facilitate non-complex form completion by prepopulating paperwork as instructed by the Advisor and submitting it to the client via various tools such as DocuSign
Apply legislative product and administrative processes knowledge when working with the client on non-license related requests that are not in good order
Investigating client issues and delays on advisors behalf with related business partners to come to timely resolution for clients
Identify and implement suggestions to systematize and improve processes/workflows
Proactively staying abreast of changes in legislation product and administrative processes
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of client facing and/or customer service experience
Bilingual (French & English) is required - The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.
Preferred Qualifications:
Post-Secondary education in finance business or related discipline preferred
Proven ability to multi-task show initiative and problem solve
Strong communication interpersonal and relationship building skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience in an advisory administrative role and/or retail product experience and/or retirement operations environment is an asset

Salary range is expected to be between
$44775.00 CAD - $74625.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location please contact for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training.
