We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Councils Digital Programme Management and Customer Servicesas an M365 Solutions Architect.
Your role
You will be part of the ICT Infrastructure and Operations team and work closely with the team and the wider digital functions to deliver and shape the future digital landscape of the organisation.
You will provide expertise and technical working knowledge of the Power platform along with other Microsoft products including Copilot. You will also collaborate on the optimum configuration of our Microsoft platform working with our Data Analysts and Systems team on products such as Fabric and OneLake.
You will lead on the technical delivery of the councils adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) working alongside technical and business leads. You will help design the technical strategy ensuring alignment with the goals of East Suffolk Council and support us in building reliable and resilient services.
What you will need
You will have good working technical knowledge and understanding of governance of Microsoft environments in accordance with best practice to enable the creation of robust solutions in a corporate environment.
Having experience in line management would also be an advantage along with at least 5 years experience of delivering MS365 solutions at an advanced technical level and experience of ITIL in an IT and business change environment. These roles will primarily be remotely based using local community assets but will also involve travel across the district to provide face-to-face services as well as providing client support over the phone and via our digital platform. A full drivers license and access to a car is essential for this role.
