At British Swim School were on a mission to reduce childhood drownings through survival-based swim instruction and public education. As a Water Safety Educator youll bring that mission to life in two impactful ways: by engaging with families and children at schools libraries and local events and by supporting families and instructors poolside as part of our operations team.

Represent British Swim School at local festivals fairs and outreach events
Greet families assist with check-in and help manage the flow of swim lessons on the pool deck
Celebrate student milestones and assist with communication to families
Prep and distribute flyers and materials in targeted communities
Collaborate with your manager to coordinate outreach opportunities and shift schedules

What You Need to Succeed
Friendly professional presence for family-facing poolside support
Availability for a mix of weekday mornings (for outreach) and evenings/weekends (for pool support)
Reliable transportation to travel between outreach locations and swim school sites
Organized and comfortable using basic tech (schedule app attendance tablet etc.)
High school diploma (or in progress)
Bonus: Experience in outreach childcare or aquatics (not requiredwell train you!)

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. Its helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job but its not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team even if youre not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the Survival of the Littlest.
