Job Description
What Youll Do:
Provides engineering and project management support for distribution underbuild work within transmission projects.
Coordinates with the transmission project management team to prioritize and manage project workflows effectively.
Reviews distribution design packages for accuracy constructability and compliance with project specifications and standards.
Coordinates field verifications to validate design assumptions and identify potential issues early in the project lifecycle.
Collaborates with Designers and Drafters to ensure timely and complete delivery of design documentation.
Applies technical knowledge to support the preparation of moderately complex designs and calculations.
Supports the disciplines design development on simple projects and contributes to more complex efforts through technical analysis and coordination.
Communicates project challenges related to scope cost schedule and quality in a timely and professional manner.
Ensures adherence to applicable industry codes standards and regulations.
Maintains clear and professional communication with internal stakeholders and project team members.
Interacts with clients on a regular basis.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in engineering from ABET accredited university
2 years of experience on the FPL system (distribution or transmission)
Proficient with FPL-specific software:
STORMS WMS (Work Management System)
PUR (Project Update Reporting)
Design Manager
Electric Office
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel Outlook Word)
Experience with Power BI is a plus
