ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Business Development & Account Management
- Drive new business through lead generation outreach and relationship development.
- Manage existing accounts and convert qualified leads into confirmed bookings.
- Oversee site visits contract negotiations and event execution.
- Consistently exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Source new group leads via digital platforms third-party vendors and internal tools.
2. Communication & Proposal Management & Reporting
- Prepare professional timely and accurate proposals contracts and follow-up communications for all prospective and confirmed group events.
- Ensure all sales systems reports and marketing materials are current accurate and aligned with the propertys positioning.
- Generate and distribute timely group sales reports to appropriate stakeholders.
3. Team Leadership & Development
- Oversee the property-level Sales Team including goal setting hiring onboarding performance management and training.
- Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on results and team collaboration.
- Serve as a liaison between sales and operational teams ensuring alignment on sales strategies and seamless execution of events.
4. Strategic Planning & Revenue Management
- Collaborate with the General Manager Director of Marketing and Revenue Managers to shape revenue strategies pricing models and marketing plans.
- Participate in budget planning forecasting and financial reviews. Provide leadership in achieving revenue goals across all group segments.
- Partner closely with Marketing and Banquets to ensure all group events are executed with a high level of service and brand consistency
5. Community Engagement & Brand Representation
- Actively represent the property in the local community through professional memberships charitable initiatives and business networking events.
6. Event Participation & Hosting
- Host and participate in sales events site inspections and promotional initiatives to drive exposure and new business.
- Attend and contribute to key meetings including operations revenue strategy BEO and budgeting. Disseminate relevant information across departments.
7. Attendance & Professionalism
- Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs Sheets Slides).
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates sound judgment adaptability and professionalism under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to convey complex ideas.
- Team-oriented reliable and accountable.
- Skilled in basic math and 10-key use; handles confidential information with discretion.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Hospitality Business Administration or a related field required.
- 57 years of progressive experience in sales or marketing within the hospitality industry is required.
- Prior experience in a gaming environment is highly preferred.
- Experience in leading teams and executing strategic sales initiatives is essential.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:
- Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License.
- Must have a valid and current drivers license and a good driving record.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while performing administrative and computer-based tasks.
- Occasionally required to kneel squat or lift up to 30 pounds.
- Flexible schedule including availability for evenings weekends and special events as needed.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Compensation starts at $120000 - $140000 based on experience accompanied by a competitive incentive structure.
