Job Title: Lead Product Engineer

Location: Edinburgh

Reports to: Product Engineering Director

Job Overview:

The Product Engineer will be a Technical Evangelist for our Analog Design Environment (ADE) tools which provide a powerful interactive environment for configuring and managing custom analog RF and mixed signal circuit design and simulation. The ADE roadmap is driven by significant innovation in cloud solutions for IC design as well as ML-driven algorithms for circuit design so this is an excellent opportunity to contribute during the product launch and adoption cycle.

Based at our Edinburgh office you will have the opportunity to work as part of a highly experienced local team in a global R&D organisation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Interface with internal R&D field teams and customers to create feature specifications.
  • Handle incoming customer issues.
  • Perform expert testing.
  • Develop collateral for promotion and education of field AEs and customers.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bs Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering and at least 4 years of related experience. MSc EE or Computer Engineering preferred.
  • Experience with Virtuoso Analog Design Environment (ADE) (or competitors custom design environment tools).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience with analog circuit simulation
  • Background in CAD
  • Knowledge of SKILL language
  • Analog/mixed signal circuit design

  • Have the ability to communicate and present effectively.
  • Be able to work and integrate well in a team environment.
  • Have a pro-active attitude to problem solving and optimisation.
