Learning Support Teacher
(Competition No. TCKCS)
East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of 1.0 FTE Learning Support Teacher at Christ-King School in Stettler Alberta.
This is a full-time probationary contract position. Duties are to commence on August 25 2025 and the contract will terminate on June 26 2026.
The responsibilities of a Learning Support Teacher are as follows but not limited to:
- Monitors and supports IPP and EAL creation and implementation
- Supervises all educational assistants
- Oversee inclusive programming resources and spaces
- Member of committee for hiring educational assistants
- Liaise with specialists such as SLP and OT
- Support teachers with universal differentiated and EAL strategies
- Attends divisional and provincial professional development training and administrative
Individuals exhibiting the following education characteristics or interests are encouraged to apply:
- Bachelor of Education
- Focus on high quality student-centered learning
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and to exercise servant leadership
- Willing to be involved in extracurricular activities (coaching or clubs) would be an asset
- Ability to develop implement and monitor division and school inclusive educational strategies and goals
- Able to serve and live as an example of Jesus Christ to all
- An Alberta teaching certificate and a current copy of all university transcripts
