About the Role
Reporting to the Superintendent Production Planning & Services you will be integral member of a dynamic and results driven team. This roles primary focus is providing mining schedules for the three month to two-year time horizon including sequencing out to five years for the medium-term plan. You will be responsiblefor creating mine plans that consider all aspects of the mining cycle and are optimised to create maximum value for Olympic Dam.
This role will see you develop influential relationships with multiple functions and stakeholders including senior leadership. You will be required to work directly with site leadership and planning professionals in order to ensure long termstrategicvalue is captured once executed in the near term.
You will also have access to excellent career opportunities as this role has beendesignedto broaden appreciation of the entire value chain through interaction with processing finance projects operations marketing geoscience and geotechnical disciplines. These interactions will enable you to demonstrate your commercial acumen andstrategicthinking skills through delivery of high-qualityplanning. The team has various roles such as mine area planning and functional activity planning to facilitate growth and diversity in work scope.
This position is based in Adelaide offering flexibility and hybrid site travel to Olympic Dam is required.

About You
Ideally you would have tertiary qualifications in Engineering (e.g. Mining/Civil) and relevant mining industry experience with a deep understanding of the key value drivers and mine planning strategies across a range of commodities and geographies.
