Job Description
Afters Ice Cream is a small batch ice cream shop located in Southern California and the originator of the Milky Bun; a warm donut-like pastry filled with a scoop of ice cream of your choice and a topping. The Milky Bun is served warm giving a unique hot and cold sensation that is totally unique and deliciously satisfying. We have 25 SoCal locations a full service catering and food truck team as well as participate in events like Coachella Stagecoach and LA County Fair and others throughout the West Coast. All of our ice cream and products are made locally by us in our Huntington Beach kitchen. This position is perfect for someone still in school who is available to work all weekends holidays and during the week as needed with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities
- Excellent customer servce and communication skills.
- Commitment to service and continual improvement regardless of the nature of service.
- Ensures sanitation standards.
- Ensures kitchen dish and storage areas are kept clean and organized.
- Ensures all health and safety codes and company safety and security policy are consistently met.
- Communicates well with customers coworkers and management.
- Works well under pressure.
- Follows instructions and wilingness to overcome obstacles and difficulties.
- Attention to detail.
- Efficient and always cleaning and restocking during downtime.
Qualifications
- Must be available for closing and weekend shifts (open till midnight every day).
- Must be within close driving distance of store located in Riverside CA.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable attendance.
- Food service and/or customer service work history preferred.
- Food Handlers Card / ServSafe Certification (you will have 30 days to get this upon hire date).
