This Inventory Control Specialist will performs inventory control tasks associated with tracking and accounting for all materials on the production floor. Uses powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and turret trucks to assist with material movements cycle counting inventory issue resolution and product discards. Must be fluent in excel and master data ERP data systems (Oracle knowledge is a plus).
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
Working directly with Operations supervisors material handlers Quality control and warehouse operators.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for managing the counts and reviewing inventory issues and taking the lead with root cause analysis to prevent those issues from reoccurring. Will proactively advise Team Leads Supervisors and Managers of inventory trends and provide input into process improvement opportunities in managing materials. Effectively communicates issues and potentially with other departments (i.e. Procurement Engineering and quality).
