Job Description

This will be a remote role to start with plans to transition to hybrid in-office 2x/week located in downtown Toronto.

The opportunity:

As a Senior Product Designer on the Diner Engagement team youll get to:

  • Help diners discover choose reserve and engage with the best restaurants for their preferences.
  • Identify new strategic UX opportunities in Diner-facing products.
  • Stay close to emerging trends in diner habits around discovery selection reservation and overall hospitality experience.
  • Work closely with a global team of product managers product & brand designers engineers and data scientists to define our strategy and drive the future of OpenTables diner experience.
  • Build impactful user experiences that delight customers and drive our business forward evolve and develop new experiences while balancing the needs of our diners restaurants and the business.
  • Collaborate with other designers while navigating the full range of a product designers workfrom research to high-fidelity designs.
  • Meaningfully impact every stage of product discovery and development across both sides of the double diamond and relentlessly iterating to constantly improve quality and impact.

Benefits:

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range including but not limited to external market benchmark data geographic location and years of experience sought/required. The range for this Toronto Canada based role is $125000-$145000 CAD.

We offer a competitive base salary and benefits including: health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO paid sick leave medical leave bereavement leave floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave benefits. This role is eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.
