Administrative Professional 4 Position Overview:
Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) is seeking an experienced administrative professional to support the Information Technology (IT) department and contribute to the agencys mission of empowering individuals with disabilities.
As an Administrative Professional 4 you will perform non-routine administrative tasks under the direction of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). Your responsibilities will include creating and processing purchase requests managing hardware and software purchases preparing requisitions submitting invoices for approval and payment and responding to billing inquiries.
In this position you will collaborate with budget staff for reporting purposes monitor and reconcile the IT budget track Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) spending and oversee contracts for multi-functional device (MFD) printers. Additionally you will review and process invoices for temporary staffing contracts monitor subscriptions software renewals and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) renewals and update database administration information.
To excel in this role youll need strong budgeting numerical and reasoning abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are important to handle sensitive inquiries and provide exceptional customer service and clerical support to IT managers the CIO and the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This includes distributing emails memorandums and other messages responding to requests and inquiries assisting with help desk ticket allocation and collaborating with the OOD Legal Division on contract development and records management.
Division of Information Technology
The Division of Information Technology (IT) supports OODs mission by engaging with our partners to provide solutions that solve business needs. Our services include strategic planning project management business requirements gathering development quality assurance testing help desk support security database design and implementation systems support and operations.
Pay Information
Starting salary will be step 1 subject to law or union contract requirements. New hires advance to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. There are cost of living increases to these rates each year and additional longevity supplements begin after 5 years. The current wage progression for this position is in the table below.

Location Requirements
We are currently in the process of increasing our in-office presence to 5 days per week across all OOD locations. Employees must reside at a location that allows for reasonable response time to workplace reporting requirements.
