Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical plumbing and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures or issues in machinery and equipment.
- Communicate the required materials for repairs with accurate information.
- Repair or replace defective parts such as pumps valves fittings cylinders hoses motors etc
- Assemble install and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures (e.g. piping drainage water supply).
- Maintain and service hydraulic systems including pumps reservoirs actuators and fluid levels.
- Interpret blueprints technical drawings and manuals.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
- Complete maintenance records and reports accurately and on time.
- Support other maintenance activities as needed across the facility.
- Review the assigned work orders in the maintenance system and notify them once they have been completed.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical systems plumbing codes and hydraulic principles.
- Ability to read technical documents manuals and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment stand for long periods and work in various conditions.
- Availability for on-call or weekend work if required.
