Job Description
Nurse Practitioner-Cardiovascular Surgery Permanent Role
- Location: Plano TX 75093
- Shift: 10-hour days 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 40 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
Day-to-Day Duties Include:
- Performing chart checks and patient assessments
- Rounding independently and with physicians
- Placing orders and establishing comprehensive care plans
- Performing consults and discharging patients
- Managing pre- and post-operative cardiovascular surgery patients
- Collaborating with multiple disciplines to provide optimal care
- Working within a team of APPs each assigned to specific service lines
- Supporting all cardiovascular surgery physician partners
QUALIFICATIONS:
- EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
- EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience
- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
