Job Description
Are you a dedicated Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) with a passion for cardiovascular care Join our leading healthcare team in Houston and make a meaningful impact on patients with heart failure in a dynamic ICU setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients with a focus on heart failure management.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments develop care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor and manage complex cardiovascular conditions in ICU settings.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- AGACNP Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Current Texas RN license.
- National certification via ANCC NCC AANP or AACN Acute Care NP.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in Cardiology Cardiac Care or Cardiovascular Nursing (RN or NP).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience caring for heart failure patients.
- Acute Care NP experience.
- Cardiovascular or Heart Failure ICU RN background.
