Job Description

Are you a dedicated Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) with a passion for cardiovascular care Join our leading healthcare team in Houston and make a meaningful impact on patients with heart failure in a dynamic ICU setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients with a focus on heart failure management.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments develop care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Monitor and manage complex cardiovascular conditions in ICU settings.
  • Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • AGACNP Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification.
  • Current Texas RN license.
  • National certification via ANCC NCC AANP or AACN Acute Care NP.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience in Cardiology Cardiac Care or Cardiovascular Nursing (RN or NP).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience caring for heart failure patients.
  • Acute Care NP experience.
  • Cardiovascular or Heart Failure ICU RN background.
