Job Description

Job Title: Structural Engineer
Location: Waukesha WI
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: $100000 - $140000 per year

Position Summary
  • Seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in structural and forensic investigations with a passion for delivering high-quality technical solutions. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform structural and forensic investigations on commercial and residential structures.
  • Conduct site visits including structural and forensic inspections to assess conditions and identify issues.
  • Compile write and edit technical reports feasibility studies letters memos and project specifications.
  • Collaborate effectively with architects engineers contractors manufacturers insurance professionals and property managers.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to meet project goals.
Required Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for structural design a sound technical background and enjoy working with a highly respected structural engineering group
  • A bachelors degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering
  • A Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain in 6 months
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the structural design of bridges and other structures
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • A valid drivers license with a good driving record
  • Strong communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Goal-oriented with excellent problem-solving creativity and attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial and industrial building materials systems and assemblies.
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
