Job Description

Launceston IT is seeking an IT HelpDesk Trainee to join our team.

We are a Tasmanian Managed IT Service provider with customers throughout the State. We are looking for a person who espouses these values who loves working as part of a team and has a strong commitment to making a difference in their work.

As an IT Helpdesk Trainee youll work with a team of technicians to ensure our customers receive the highest level of service whilst also working towards your Certificate IV in Information Technology. You will be provided with on the job training to develop you into a well rounded IT professional.

We are seeking a person with a passion for IT who wants to make a career in the industry. Previous experience working in the IT industry is not required.

Requirements

Selection Criteria:

  • Completion of Year 12.
  • A demonstrated interest in IT (for example through previous employment work experience placements or an active IT-related hobby)
  • Great written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with an ability to learn on the job.
  • A high level of accountability and reliability in the workplace.
  • Current unrestricted drivers license (provisional or above).
Candidates may be required to undergo a national police check and a Working with Vulnerable People check.
