We are currently looking for a Quantitative Analyst to take the lead in shaping the renewable energy generation forecasting process and improving its accuracy while also supporting the team in analytical tasks related to energy trading. If that speaks to you wed be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to a green and secure energy ecosystem by:
- Benchmarking different renewable energy generation forecast providers and forecasting methods
- Setting up new forecasting processes and managing input data flows to improve forecast accuracy
- Identifying and eliminating inefficiencies in the forecasting process
- Tracking the performance of the short-term trading portfolio and reporting relevant KPIs
- Automating repetitive quantitative calculations to improve efficiency and reduce manual work
- Preparing quantitative analyses to support decision-making for both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- A Bachelors degree or higher in Science Engineering Economics Mathematics or a related field
- Experience working in an analytical role in either business or academia
- Excellent computing skills including proficiency in MS Office
- Coding experience for data analysis (e.g. VBA R Python or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to critically analyze complex issues and communicate solutions in a clear and simple manner
- Understanding of statistics and financial modelling principles
- Fluency in English with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Would be an advantage:
- Familiarity with energy market operating principles.
