Job Description

Pay Rate: $ 22.45 per hour. 

  • To maintain the integrity of the warehouse perpetual inventory records and to receive and distribute materials to users from the warehouse.
  •  Input issues of parts checked out by maintenance mechanics in the SAP system. 
  • Assist mechanics in looking for the proper parts needed. 
  • Put all incoming stock parts/items on the correct shelf/box/area. 
  • Make sure all parts have the stock numbers written on them or the bag or box. 
  • Check kits for preventative maintenance program. 
  • Maintain the maintenance warehouse inventory to support facility maintenance department goals and all other assigned tasks.
  • Heavy email communication forklift skills multitasking and being a team player to the needs of the storeroom.
  • Safe and proper methods of loading and unloading materials when and how to respond to emergency situations regarding inadequate material stock availability assume supervisor duties when supervisor is not present (primarily during vacation or illness).
  • Stock substitutions removal of stock other than through and issue adjusting perpetual inventory records.
  • Due to the demand for high serviceability material handlers are required to possess and exhibit a sense of urgency and are required to react quickly.

Qualifications :

  • Must have a minimum one (1) year combined experience in shipping/receiving warehousing and inventory control
  • Must have a strong numerical aptitude
  • Must have a good vocabulary and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Must be dependable
  • Must have good interpersonal skills. 
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Must be able to work without close supervision
  • Must be able to operate material handling equipment
  • Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to read write and understand English
  • Must be able to use and understand computer system SAP
  • Must maintain in-house forklift certificate
  • Must be able to carry parts up stairs and ladders
  • Must be able to put parts away on top shelves reaching overhead
  • Must be able to work rapidly with little supervision
  • Must possess computer skills
  • Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check
