Job Description
Job Title: Material Handler
Pay: $17/hr
Hours: 6:00 AM 4:30 PM MondayFriday (some Saturdays required)
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Sapulpa OK
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Material Handler for a manufacturing facility in Sapulpa OK. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring the individual to work around overhead cranes forklifts automated equipment and other hazardous machinery. The ideal Material Handler will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement packing and tracking of materials throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks
- Properly pack materials prior to loading
- Locate and move raw materials and finished products as required
- Follow work instructions to execute material movement orders
- Operate industrial trucks electric hoists and forklifts for loading and material handling
- Ensure consistent productivity that meets the companys established standards
- Maintain quality workmanship according to company guidelines
- Follow all Premier safety policies and procedures
- Support and maintain 5S organizational standards
Required Skills:
- Must demonstrate the ability to work professionally as part of a team
- Willing to contribute ideas to improve processes and meet deadlines
- Must be able to pass forklift training
- Ability to read and write basic shop communications
- Able to use a tape measure accurately
- Prior basic fabrication shop experience preferred
