Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the complete UI/UX design process for our products/services. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of user-centered design principles a strong portfolio showcasing innovative and effective designs and a passion for staying at the forefront of UI/UX technology and trends.
Responsibilities:
UI/UX Strategy & Vision:
Develop and champion the overall UI/UX strategy for products/services aligning it with business goals and user needs.
Conduct user research including user interviews surveys and usability testing to understand user behaviors and identify opportunities for improvement.
Analyze market trends competitor analysis and emerging technologies to inform design decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
Establish and maintain UI/UX design standards and guidelines.
Design & Prototyping:
Create user flows wireframes mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web mobile and other digital platforms.
Ensure designs are responsive accessible and optimized for performance.
Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to other designers.
Collaboration & Leadership:
Work closely with product managers engineers and other stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into user-centered designs.
Lead and mentor junior designers providing guidance and support to foster their growth.
Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders and effectively communicate design rationale.
Act as a champion for user-centered design within the organization.
Technology & Tools:
Maintain a deep understanding of the latest UI/UX technologies tools and trends.
Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve the design process and enhance user experiences.
Stay up to date on accessibility standards and best practices (WCAG)
Qualifications :
Educational qualification:
Bachelors degree in Design Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or a related field.
Experience :
10 years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects.
Mandatory/requires Skills :
Expertise in user research methodologies usability testing and interaction design principles.
Proficiency in creating user flows wireframes mockups and prototypes.
Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Passion for creating user-centered designs and staying at the forefront of UI/UX trends.
Proficiency in:
Front-End Technologies: React HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript SASS LESS
CMS Platforms: Experience with Sitefinity (or similar CMS platform)
Version Control: Git/GitHub
UI Frameworks: Bootstrap Zurb Foundation Material Design MD Bootstrap Tailwind CSS
Design Tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator XD) Figma Sketch
Preferred Skills :
Information Architecture (IA): Understanding of IA principles and ability to create clear and logical information hierarchies.
Usability Testing (Advanced): Expertise in planning conducting and analyzing complex usability tests including remote testing methodologies.
A/B Testing & Multivariate Testing: Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests to optimize user experiences.
Accessibility (WCAG Advanced): Deep understanding of WCAG guidelines and experience implementing accessible design principles in complex projects.
Design Systems: Experience creating implementing and maintaining design systems.
Service Design: Experience applying service design principles to create seamless user experiences across multiple touchpoints.
Technical Skills:
Web Accessibility Standards (WCAG ARIA): Strong understanding and practical application of accessibility guidelines.
Motion Design & Animation: Ability to create engaging and effective micro-interactions and animations. (Use After Effects Lottie or similar).
Data Visualization: Skills in creating clear and effective data visualizations within user interfaces.
Front-End Development (Advanced): More in-depth knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g. React Angular ) beyond basic HTML CSS and JavaScript.
SEO/SEM: Understanding of how UI/UX design impacts search engine optimization.
Cross-Browser Compatibility: Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and techniques.
Additional Information :
This role requires a strategic thinker a creative problem-solver and an excellent communicator who can translate business requirements into compelling and intuitive user experiences. The candidate will be responsible for driving the UI/UX vision and ensuring a consistent and engaging user experience across all platforms.
