Job Description

SOUS CHEF (m/f/x)
Are you a strong personality in the kitchen who can both lead and inspire Do you enjoy combining creativity with organization and have an eye for detail
Then we might be looking for you!

As a Sous Chef you will be an essential part of the kitchen team. Youll help shape the culinary vision of the hotel and ensure every plate leaves the kitchen in perfect condition. In the absence of the Executive Chef you will take full responsibility for leading the kitchen organizing shifts communicating with other departments and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Whats waiting for you

  • Collaborating with the Head Chef on planning and organizing daily kitchen operations.
  • Leading and motivating the team onboarding new colleagues and training in fine dining standards.
  • Creating seasonal menus preparing gastronomic events and ensuring top-level food presentation.
  • Managing inventory placing orders liaising with suppliers and participating in stocktakes.
  • Overseeing hygiene standards (including HACCP) and food cost control.
  • Cooperating closely with the F&B team organizing banquets and catering services.
  • Responding to guest feedback and continuously improving the offering.

Qualifications :

Who are we looking for Our ideal candidate has:

  • Education: Vocational training in culinary arts or equivalent experience
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in the field ideally including a leadership position
  • Languages: Czech at a communicative level English is a plus
  • Skills: Knowledge of hygiene regulations modern culinary trends strong organizational skills attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset
