Job Description
The US BEATS Finance organization is seeking a talented Senior Finance Manager to lead finance support for US-Stores-wide Cost to Serve BEATS P&L Analysis and Tech team support. This is an exciting opportunity to partner closely with business and operational stakeholders to drive financial performance and shape the strategic direction of a large-scale consumer business.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead and develop a highly-engaged and impactful team of financial analysts and managers
- Leverage financial and operational data to drive actionable insights to unlock incremental long-term free cash flow
- Communicate drivers of financial performance to business and finance leadership
- Influence business and operational stakeholders on new or modified strategies to drive topline growth and profitability improvement
- Develop and implement processes to enhance financial controllership and facilitate improved auditing of business performance
A day in the life
Intermix your time between influencing US and EU partners on Cost to Serve reduction opportunities BEATS P&L teams for product line improvements and a Tech team for future large impact growth and cost reduction opportunities.
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field
- 12 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 10 years of positions that require analysis and reporting financial results experience
- 10 years of performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools experience
- 8 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 8 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 10 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 5 years of hiring leading and developing teams experience
- 8 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- 8 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 8 years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience
- 5 years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience
- MBA or CPA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $227700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
