Job Summary:
The Athletics Department at Marist University invites applications for a full-time 12-month position as Assistant Coach Softball. The assistant coach is responsible for the practice & game plan preparation and the preparation coordination & execution of practice plans during the academic year. The position is responsible for the identification research of and communication with prospective student-athletes during the calendar year. The assistant coach will also assist in the academic personal and career mentoring of student-athletes.

Essential Functions:
Recruit athletes to Marist University by:
Provide mentoring to student-athletes inside and outside of practice on their academic personal civic and career aspirations for the future.
Assist the Head Coach in developing the game strategy and designing effective and efficient training and practices for both the team and individual student-athlete by:
Proficient in recruiting software.
Adept at running camps and clinics.
Fundraising experience.
