I. Job Summary
Directs the development of the Accounting strategic plans consistent with the established corporate strategic plans and ensures their proper execution.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees the organizations accounting principles practices and procedures regarding the maintenance of fiscal records and the preparation of financial reports within a division.
- Directs general and property accounting cost accounting and budgetary control for a division within the organization.
- Appraises operating results in terms of costs budgets operating policies trends and increased profit opportunities for the division and establishes proper measures of performance.
- Develops the accounting functions budget in a timely manner forecasting financial and human resource needs for future time periods.
- Counsels managers as to execution of accounting procedures and programs and when necessary provides direction for modification in work plans or implementation of contingency plans in accordance with prevailing business conditions.
- Develops and implements accounting plans consistent with the accomplishment of long range established objectives which will enhance organizational effectiveness and delineate responsibilities and authority.

- Bachelors Degree(accredited)in Accounting or similar area of studyRequired
- 12 years minimum of related experience (in additional to education requirements)Required
