Job Description

POSTING of VACANCY

Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant

Coalition for Children

Job Goals:

The Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant combines accounting and administrative duties including managing financial records payroll and timesheets accounts payable and receivable and providing general office support.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping/administrative support experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel google spreadsheets and google documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Assistance in the processing of invoices maintaining financial records and maintaining grant budget requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a grant budget spreadsheet for each grant line item.
  • Organize and maintain grant finance files and documents.
  • Assist the coordinator with general office duties.
  • Assist parent child plus program with administrative duties.
  • Must be deadline and detail oriented and work independently.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Word Excel Google documents and spreadsheets.
  • Works in collaboration with the school district finance business office.
  • Maintaining and keeping up to date with community resource information.
  • Must be able to use office equipment such as computer printer copier scanner laminator and calculator.

Salary: $22.00/hour dependent on availability of grant funding

Schedule: 5-7 hours per week. Flexible days and hours.
